We are thrilled to offer you the combination of rhinestones and embroidery. There is nothing that goes with a wedding better than diamonds and rhinestones are the next best thing. We have spent many hours formulating the process to pioneer rhinestone application on a cotton blanket. From what we found in our research, we are the 1st to offer this application on cotton blankets.
These are genuine high grade crystal rhinestones.
The quality is as high as you can get without going with the brand Swarovski. They have tons of sparkle and radiate the color prism. We choose not to offer Swarovski brand as the standard stone, to keep the cost affordable and feel you will be pleased with the quality of the stones offered. If you would like to special order Swarovski please add $30.00 to the purchase price.
This rhinestone design is a simple double oval with 3mm stones on the interior & 2mm stones on the exterior. If you would like colored Rhinestones, please inquire prior to purchasing. Names and date included. You can change the thread colors to your liking. Some color suggestions are Dark Sage (shown), Black, Deep Red, Burgundy, Light Navy.
Washing Information
Many hours of preparation and testing has gone into perfecting rhinestone application on an afghan. The longevity of the adhesion is comparable of what you would expect of rhinestones on a shirt. We did machine wash tests 10 times to ensure that the stones are adhered correctly. Even though this looks extremely delicate, you can machine wash it. In our tests we washed in cold and warm water in normal and delicate settings then machine dried on high heat with NO stone loss.
